Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the work of the shift supervisors, by reviewing the performance of each shift and its effectiveness of use of resources, operational KPIs; ensure optimal communication and hand-over between shifts; implement and review the shift production routines; Oversee the development and training of new and existing employees.
  • Manage subordinate supervisors who will supervise all hourly employees in the Production Department. Confers with workers' representatives to resolve grievances. Oversees activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to fabricate new equipment or improve existing equipment.
  • Act as the primary interface with Control Room Operators and troubleshoot plant systems as needed. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for improved stability and reliability.
  • Organize and follow routine and non-routine maintenance activities related to the line for which it is responsible.
  • Control product inputs and outputs according to company quality targets and produce products in accordance with the targets.
  • Work in compliance with environmental laws and company environmental commitments.
  • Work in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company occupational health and safety goals.
Qualifications
  • Cement Manufacturing processes such as mining, milling, kiln operation, process control, and predictive maintenance are desirable.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental legislative/regulatory requirements.
  • Mechanical aptitude/experience; extensive experience in kiln operations and processes.
