Job description

KidStrong Kleinburg is seeking enthusiastic and experienced coaches with a background in athletics, coaching, or pediatric development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 15 months to 8 years old or possess pediatric occupational therapy (OT) or physical therapy (PT) experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for child development, fitness, and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and facilitate KidStrong classes using the established curriculum.
  2. Engage and communicate effectively with parents to educate them on the KidStrong methodology.
  3. Create a positive, high-energy environment that motivates and encourages children.
  4. Ensure safety and proper form in all physical activities and exercises.
  5. Support and contribute to team culture, assisting fellow coaches and leadership as needed.
  6. Maintain classroom structure and discipline to promote a constructive learning experience.
  7. Adhere to all KidStrong policies and procedures.

Experience:

  • Prior coaching or teaching experience with young children (ages 15 months – 8 years).
  • Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and parents effectively.
  • A positive, energetic, and motivating presence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Weekdays: 9 AM - 12 PM, 3 PM - 7 PM

Qualifications:

  • KidStrong Coach Certification (Provided upon hire - June 23, 24, 25 from 9:00 am - 7:30 pm)

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

KidStrong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
