This position pays $10.00-$12.48/hour depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KID ZONE ATTENDANT
As a Kid Zone Attendant at one of our locations, you help our members meet their fitness goals by providing a safe, secure and positive environment for their children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old. Kid Zone is a service for YMCA family members providing drop-in care for their children with trained staff while they enjoy an onsite workout or class.
You are friendly and patient as you ensure the safety of all children. Always alert, you provide proper supervision for the children as you "see, hear, direct, and assess." Parents feel good about leaving their children in your loving and capable hands.
With enthusiasm, you help keep the kid zone area clean and in order. You are also conscientious about the YMCA emergency procedures and find ways to have fun with the children while they are in your care.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A KID ZONE ATTENDANT
Are you a people person who especially enjoys interacting with children? Are you patient and able to remain calm when stressed? Do you enjoy reading and singing with children? If so, you might just be perfect for this Kid Zone Attendant position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This typical schedule for this position is 5-15 hours per week, scheduled shifts are available Monday through Friday and weekends.

A medical examination, including drug testing, may be required after an offer of employment has been made.
