About The Role

Based out of our Value Buds Adelaide location in London, ON, we are seeking an experienced Part-time Keyholder who can handle various situations effectively. The role involves maintaining store standards, becoming knowledgeable about cannabis, and sharing that knowledge with customers. We seek proactive individuals who enjoy meeting new people and building relationships, and who are eager to learn about this emerging industry.

Responsibilities
Customer Offering
  • Greet customers, engage in conversation, and understand their needs.
  • Create a welcoming environment in the store.
  • Educate customers about cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
Day-to-Day Operations
  • Participate in merchandising and promotional activities to promote our culture and brand.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and team members to generate sales.
  • Maintain product and industry knowledge, including legislation, trends, and new products.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and participate in routine maintenance.
  • Process transactions accurately and adhere to cash and Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Monitor and restock inventory regularly.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Follow all OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Support social responsibility programs of Nova Cannabis and AGLC.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • At least 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience.
  • Cannabis, liquor, or healthcare experience is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid SellSafe certification.
  • Valid Qualified Cannabis Worker certification.
  • Criminal Record Check clearance.
  • Knowledge of Alberta cannabis selling regulations.
