About the Role

Located at our Value Buds Danforth & Main store in Toronto, ON, we seek an experienced Keyholder capable of managing various challenges. The role involves ensuring the store's optimal operation, becoming knowledgeable about cannabis products, and sharing expertise with customers. We seek proactive individuals who enjoy engaging with people and are eager to learn about this growing industry.

Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Offering

• Greet customers and engage to understand their needs
• Create a welcoming environment
• Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods

Day-to-Day Operations

• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
• Collaborate with Store Managers and team members to increase sales
• Maintain product and industry knowledge
• Ensure store cleanliness and routine maintenance
• Handle transactions and adhere to cash and loss prevention policies
• Monitor and restock inventory

Regulatory Adherence

• Follow OH&S policies and procedures
• Support social responsibility programs
• Comply with company policies and operational standards

Experience and Qualifications

• At least 2 years in customer service
• At least 2 years in retail and/or hospitality
• Preferred experience in cannabis, liquor, or healthcare
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid SellSafe and Qualified Cannabis Worker certifications
• Criminal Record Check clearance
• Knowledge of Alberta cannabis sales regulations
