Key Technical Account Manager (API Trailblazer)

At Priceline Partner Solutions (PPS), we provide the best travel deals to our Strategic Partners. We need a highly motivated Key Technical Account Manager (API Trailblazer) to manage technical relationships with internal and external partners, focusing on seamless API integration and partnership growth. You'll be a technology guru for our Business team and Partners, advocating for their needs and ensuring an industry-leading partner experience.

In this role you will:

  1. Manage technical partner relationships, acting as the main Subject Matter Expert (SME) for API implementation.
  2. Interact with partners to identify the best PPS travel API solutions and facilitate quick go-to-market for integration.
  3. Handle the full implementation cycle: onboarding, development, post-launch, and growth.
  4. Troubleshoot partner issues, identify root causes, and work towards resolutions.
  5. Participate in triage calls with the API technical team, prioritize JIRA tickets, and report back to the Account Growth team.
  6. Become proficient with all travel product APIs (hotel, car, and air).
  7. Communicate effectively with partners on downtime/outages.
  8. Conduct technical business reviews to grow partnerships.
  9. Drive adoption of new API features and monitor API traffic for trends.
  10. Conduct site review/QA for partner integrations and assist in account setup.
  11. Analyze API data using tools like Splunk and New Relic to understand partner performance and identify growth opportunities.
  12. Contribute to API capacity optimization and identify process improvements for partner onboarding and API integration.
  13. Document processes and best practices related to API implementation and data analysis.
  14. Act as a key point of contact and advocate for partners, collaborating with internal teams to define and prioritize new API features.
  15. Focus on improving processes and response times for seamless partner launches.
  16. Identify key indicators of successful API integration.
  17. Demonstrate initiative and leadership in improving API offerings and driving projects to completion.

Who you are:

  1. Someone who enjoys working with partners and teams to achieve great results.
  2. A minimum of 2-5 years work experience in technology, marketing, business or project management.
  3. Comfortable using SQL, JSON schema, Postman and other related technologies with familiarity on graphQL.
  4. Enjoys analyzing technical data to improve partner and customer experience.
  5. Understands the importance of a successful onboarding process.
  6. Strong organizational skills to support multiple partners.
  7. Demonstrated expertise in API data analysis, Splunk, and New Relic.
  8. Solid understanding of API technology concepts and integration processes.
  9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. Strong initiative, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  11. A dynamic learning mindset, adaptable to change and ambiguity.
  12. Autonomous and able to work independently, with strong troubleshooting and project leadership abilities.

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
