Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Canada is seeking a motivated sales associate to help customers find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear while delivering excellent service. You’ll open and close the store, welcome guests, answer questions, and suggest products that fit their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome and assist with finding products
• Explain product details, materials and features and upsell where appropriate
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t present
• Prepare and display products to create a memorable shopping experience
• Process transactions at the cash register and ensure store cleanliness

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
