Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. in Sherbrooke is hiring a Permanent, Full Time Sales Associate to advise customers and maximize sales. Under store management, you will welcome customers, explain products, and help them find items you’ll love.

You will open and close the store, keep the floor tidy, handle transactions at the cash register, and participate in setting up appealing displays. The role rewards initiative, reliability, and a commitment to great service, with extra shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and advise on products to maximize sales.
• Explain products, materials and features and suggest additional items.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and be available when needed.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Manage the sales floor in the absence of store managers.
• Arrange products on the floor to create a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep store and backstore clean and organized.
• Identify new products and share top picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Follow head office policies and procedures; perform other duties as needed.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
