Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. is seeking a friendly, sales‑driven team member in a part‑time, permanent role in Montreal. You will advise customers, explain product details, and suggest additional items to maximize sales while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

We value previous sales experience, strong customer service, and the ability to listen to customers’ needs. Bilingual ability is an asset. You may be scheduled for holidays and longer hours during peak periods to support the team.

• Interest in lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome and help them find products.
• Explain products' quality, materials, and features and suggest complementary items.
• Be available in fitting rooms to assist customers and close sales.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with guidance from training.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and backstore.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
