Job summary

Bikini Village in Kamloops, Canada is seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. You will greet customers, present lingerie, swimwear and related apparel, answer questions about products, and help customers find the perfect fit to maximize sales.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide warm welcome to customers and assist in finding products.

• Assist customers in fitting rooms and on the sales floor to maximize sales.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals through product knowledge and upselling.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and stock the floor.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
