Job summary

Lammle's Western Wear in Calgary is seeking a dynamic Key Holder who can drive sales, deliver the Lammle’s Experience, and lead by example. You will assist the store manager with daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive the store mission and uphold the Lammle’s Experience.
• Coach and motivate store staff; liaison with Customer Service Centre.

• Support day-to-day operations; ensure policy adherence and inventory control.
• Lead on merchandise display and promotions; execute markdowns and transfers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; ensure equipment is functional.

Responsibilities:

• Making the company mission statement our driving force
• Support all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the store in a manner consistent with Lammle’s culture, Performance Standards and Beliefs, while providing the Lammle’s Experience.
• Functioning as the coach, motivating source, and team leader for the store staff; liaison with the Customer Service Centre

Human Resources Management

• Training and development of store staff.
• Create and maintain a positive team environment whose players are passionate about our Performance Culture

Operational Management

• Supporting the implementation of company policies and procedures
• All training standards, company programs as per direction.
• A strong focus on customer service and consistently maintaining customer service levels
• Contribution to supporting inventory control, minimize Shortage & Adjustments, maintain accurate store inventory
• Ensure that the store’s physical conditions are clean and well maintained (vacuum, dust, floor free of obstacles) and train staff accordingly
• Identify when that equipment is operational and maintained (computers, vacuum cleaners, ladders, lights, audio-visual) and train staff accordingly
• Lead on merchandise display and presentation consistent with Lammle’s image
• Merchandise the store based on promotions or season and store profile as directed
• Communicate and support company promotions
• Complete markdowns and transfers accurately and in a timely manner
• Use windows and store fronts effectively
• Product knowledge training and coaching to all outfitters
• Promoting and enhancing our company image
• Support in allover strategy
