Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Calgary is seeking a dynamic part-time sales associate to help customers find lingerie, sleepwear and swimwear, and to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

You will welcome customers, explain product features, assist in fittings, hit personal sales goals, and support store operations. This role offers flexible hours, a community-focused team, and opportunities to grow within the company.

• Previous sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a warm welcome.
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—explain the products and suggest other items.
• Be available in the fitting room to assist.
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals.
• Manage the sales floor when managers aren’t there.
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Ensure store and backstore are clean and tidy.
• Share top product picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Respect and apply head office policies.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for advising customers to maximize sales potential as well as opening and closing the store. To perform your job well, you will need to:

• Provide customers with a warm welcome;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Manage the sales floor when your managers aren’t there;
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.
