Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the company’s head office in Kent as a Key Accounts Commercial Claims Advisor. This brokerage is proudly independent where they are a very client focused organisation specialising in many bespoke insurance schemes and products. There is currently a big push by the company for development this year and it is therefore a very good and exciting time to join this organisation.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

To assist the claims team in achieving their targets in line with company objectives.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. You will advise and update our key account clients on all relevant events and discussions during the claim ensuring complete customer happiness.
  2. You will regularly assess the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents, and solicitors and ensure that all parties are informed of progress or chased for updates as necessary.
  3. You will run claims efficiently and keep the system updated with all relevant information.
  4. You process all claim notifications, further advices, and collections following our team’s procedures.
  5. You will need to be someone with super administrative skills who will be task focused and want to develop and cultivate their career with us.
  6. Providing necessary reports to Account Executives on claims history and other information prior.
  7. You will be managing and maintaining the claims diary on the OpenGi system as well as other databases.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Technical and commercial insurance knowledge.
  2. Claims experience (motor, liabilities, and property desirable).
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Organised and systematic approach to work.
  5. Good attention to detail.
  6. Self-starter and self-motivated in the working environment.
  7. Knowledge and understanding of OpenGi management operating system (desirable).

Attractive basic salary up to £28k, plus excellent staff benefits in addition.
