Job description

Summary

The Key Account Representative is responsible for managing and growing assigned customer accounts by delivering reliable service, building strong relationships, and developing a deep understanding of their customers’ freight needs. You’ll be the daily point of contact for your accounts, working with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing, timely execution, and quick problem resolution. As you gain experience, you'll develop account-specific knowledge and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

This role is a key part of Q-Line’s customer success strategy and a strong foundation for future advancement in account leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build trust with assigned customers through consistent communication and follow-through
  • Be responsive to day-to-day needs and challenges

Freight Coordination & Pricing Accuracy

  • Learn the unique requirements of each customer’s freight
  • Ensure timely quoting and accurate pricing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support execution and resolve issues

Account Learning & Development

  • Develop account-specific knowledge and industry insight
  • Build the skills needed to support strategic growth initiatives and future roles

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support team and organizational goals through other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

  • Business Administration Certificate (required)
  • CCLP designation (preferred)
  • 2–3 years of sales experience

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving challenges
  • Understanding of the transportation industry, including equipment and operations
