Crafted Highlights

In the role of Key Account Manager based in Toronto (12-month contract), you will be an integral part of the Ontario Commercial team. You will lead the development and execution of Molson Coors Canada’s Customer First growth strategies across all Ontario partners. This includes creating and implementing annual customer plans tailored to specific customers’ districts, store types, and brands.

In this role, you will serve as the resident expert on your assigned customers, responsible for driving both short-term and mid-term sustainable profit and volume growth for Molson Coors. At the same time, you will ensure alignment with and delivery of your customers’ strategic objectives.

This position reports to the Sr Manager Key Account

and will lead a cross-functional team consisting of Sales, Customer Marketing, Revenue Management, Customer Insight, Supply Chain, and Finance.

What You’ll Be Brewing :

  • Deliver Molson Coors volume, share, and profit targets at Grocery.
  • Lead development of joint business plans and Molson Coors cross-functional customer plans.
  • Lead development of customer strategy and provide thought leadership on development and execution of Molson Coors assortment strategy, promotional pricing, and promotional plans at Grocery.
  • Leverage shopper, category, customer, brand, and channel insights in the development of plans.
  • Recommend and develop, in conjunction with channel marketing, specific customer, channel, and brand plans.
  • Develop key cross-functional KPI scorecard and hold teams accountable for delivery of customer metrics through regular team meetings and business reviews.
  • Develop and deliver the annual plan and lead the development of supplementary plans to offset any gaps.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Grocery customers.
  • Manage and execute assigned customer budgets.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Field Sales and other departments where appropriate to execute customer and brand plans.
  • Manage business activities within all regulatory policies.
  • Champion the “Voice of the Customer” within Molson Coors.

Key Ingredients :

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 4-5 years of sales/marketing experience in a packaged goods environment, the beverage alcohol industry, or retail sector.
  • You have 1-2 years’ experience calling on key accounts or as a retail category manager.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and understand business priorities.
  • You act with appropriate urgency to market events and trends requiring quick strategy adjustments.
  • You are computer literate with strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
  • You are willing to travel regularly within Ontario (15-20%).
  • You build relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • You take accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
  • You have a thirst for learning and continuous growth.

Pay and Benefits :

Salary range: $100,400.00 - $131,800.00, based on experience and other factors. We pay fairly and equitably.
