Position Overview

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will play a critical role in growing and further developing our brands within the Western Canadian market, specifically within the retail channel. This results-driven individual will be responsible for selling to and servicing key retail banners within the defined territory. The position will support the Rossdown Farms and Natural Foods sales team and report directly to the Director of Sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive sales by executing and closing calls with retail partners
  • Plan and service assigned accounts on a set call cycle
  • Ensure full product distribution per account profile
  • Negotiate and execute strategic programs / promotions with key decision makers
  • Set up in-store displays and point-of-sale materials
  • Achieve sales targets for volume, margin, and market share
  • Share market insights and competitive intel with the sales team
  • Represent our farm-to-plate mission with passion and professionalism
What You Bring
  • 5+ years’ success in key account sales within a national CPG company (protein sales a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Vancouver Island’s grocery / retail landscape
  • Experience working with banners like Thrifty Foods, Country Grocer, Fairways, Quality Foods
  • Broker and distributor management experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable lifting 20–30 lbs regularly
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle
