What you’ll do
  • Implement the company's sales strategy with customers; develop and execute annual sales plans, including Key Business Indicator (KBI) sales, market share, and education objectives.
  • Lead and participate in the full sales cycle: prospecting, pricing, lead generation, presentations, negotiations, client meetings, proposal writing, relationship building, and account management.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities, including innovation, loyalty programs, sales incentives, and education programs.
  • Manage and develop key customer business plans with support from Distributor Sales Consultants (DSCs), covering about 40 key accounts. Plans include brand analysis, growth goals, loyalty programs, and aligned education plans.
  • Create a customer-centric approach to acquire new clients by proactively building salon target lists with DSCs, aligning with the Commercial Director, considering salon profiles, purchase potential, and investment.
  • Support and facilitate the execution of education plans and key activities for each key account.
  • Maintain and update call cycles regularly.
  • Participate in special events, in-salon activities, distributor engagements, and across sales, marketing, and education sectors.
  • Conduct DSC training, lead sales meetings, support distributor shows, and attend industry events.
  • Identify new educational product needs and train sales teams on competitive advantages.
  • Partner with the Field Education Manager to develop training programs for client cosmetology educators to ensure successful implementation.

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Must be bilingual in French and English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Customer focus: ability to listen, build relationships, resolve concerns, and document interactions
  • Empathic questioning to discover customer needs, offering options, and implementing solutions to foster loyalty
  • Engage coworkers to develop strategies that meet customer needs and prevent issues, developing responsive systems
