As Greenhouse accelerates its national expansion, we are seeking a high-impact Key Account Manager to drive performance, ownership, and execution across our retail portfolio in Canada. This is a mission-critical role, reporting to the Director of Sales for Canada, and demands a commercially astute operator with the confidence, discipline, and entrepreneurial drive to deliver results at scale.

Based in Vancouver or Toronto with flexibility to travel 20-25%, the successful candidate must operate with independence and urgency, lead with strategic intent, and bring a competitive mindset to every aspect of the role. You will be expected to develop and execute sales strategies that outperform expectations, grow retail partnerships, and significantly advance Greenhouse’s position in the marketplace.

Key Performance Outcomes :

  • Total net revenue from assigned accounts.
  • Gross Margin % & EBITDA % on assigned portfolio.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Distribution targets for new innovations.
  • DSO for assigned customers.

Statement of Work & Responsibilities :

  1. Meet sales targets and company objectives by developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote profitable sales and market share growth and a “mutual win” with retail customers.
  2. Manage sales activities within the assigned portfolio, leveraging customer, distributor, and internal data sources to manage portfolio and promotional effectiveness / ROI.
  3. Assimilate complex data and information from multiple sources, demonstrating proficiency with tools & methods for measuring business performance and to aid in strategic decision making.
  4. Collaborate with distributor partner(s) to ensure both commercial and operational excellence day to day.
  5. Identify and develop new market opportunities for the business in existing or new customers.
  6. Work closely with the sales team in the creation of new sales strategies and approaches as part of annual planning and ongoing efforts.
  7. Develop and maintain knowledge of consumer, competitor, and market trends.
  8. Participate in trade shows, sales workshops, seminars, and events to ensure the business remains competitive.
  9. Develop cross-functional relationships with finance, marketing, operations, and others, ensuring strategic alignment and proper information flow.
  10. Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience :

  • 5+ years of sales experience in CPG or food & beverage, including managing key / national accounts.
  • Experience in the natural / organic food space considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Diligent with follow-up, well organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
