Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Canada is seeking a Key Account Executive to support customer business plans across Modern Trade accounts. You will work closely with operations to drive sales initiatives and maintain records of pricing and promotional agreements. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the FMCG industry, and is proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Min 1-2 years of experience in key account management or sales support, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in Trade/Channel Marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support in implementing customer business plans across Modern Trade accounts.
  • Work closely with the Operation team to drive sales initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of pricing, trading terms, and promotional agreements.
  • Serve as a contact for Modern Trade customers, ensuring communication and support.
  • Build relationships with retail stakeholders to support growth.
  • Monitor sales performance and product availability.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure orders are fulfilled as planned.
  • Provide input for customer reviews based on insights.
  • Compile performance dashboards and reports.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts and promotional calendars.

Key Account Executive – Modern Trade

Working Days: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm
Working Location: Woodlands Link [Nearest: Admiralty MRT]
Salary: $3000 - $3800 + Commission

Responsibilities
  • Support in implementing customer business plans and promotional calendars across Modern Trade (MT) accounts.
  • Work closely with Operation team and in-store merchandisers to drive sales and visibility initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pricing, trading terms, product listings, and promotional agreements including expansion listings
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for Modern Trade (MT) customers, ensuring effective communication and timely support.
  • Build strong relationships with key retail stakeholders to support growth, execution excellence, and service quality.
  • Monitor sales performance, stock availability, and promotional effectiveness to support decision‑making and demand planning.
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain and Operations team to ensure orders, deliveries, and activations are fulfilled as planned.
  • Provide input for customer reviews based on data insights and market feedback.
  • Compile and update performance dashboards, trackers, and reports for internal and customer‑facing use.
  • Assist in preparing sales forecasts, account plans, and promotional calendars for review.
Requirements
  • Min 1–2 years of experience in key account management, customer coordination, or sales support, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in Trade/Channel Marketing is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
