Job summary

Lindt Canada is seeking a Key Account Analyst to support Walmart and Alternative Channels with high-quality analytics, reporting, and automation to enable faster decision-making. The role partners with NAM, KAM, and Field Sales to translate complex data into clear priorities that improve commercial performance.

The candidate will develop scalable reporting, manage data from SAP BI/TPM/portals, and provide timely ad hoc analyses, while driving process improvements and insights across regions.

Job description

Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Key Account Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality analytical and reporting support to the Walmart and Alternative Channels team. Through automation, data-driven insights, and proactive performance tracking, this role enables faster, more effective decision-making across the business.Acting as a strategic partner to the National Account Manager (NAM), Key Account Manager (KAM), and Field Sales teams, the Key Account Analyst translates complex data into clear, actionable priorities that drive commercial performance. This role also plays a key part in identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance processes to improve team efficiency and accelerate business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop, standardize, and continuously enhance internal reporting across Walmart and Alternative Channels using advanced Excel and automation toolsBuild scalable, automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve speed to insightExtract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., customer portals, SAP BI, TPM) to deliver accurate and actionable reportingDeliver high-quality ad hoc analysis under tight timelines to support evolving business needsSales & Field Execution SupportServe as the primary analytical partner to Field Sales, translating data into clear, actionable priorities that drive in-store execution and resultsDeliver weekly and monthly reporting with concise insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actionsCommunicate priorities clearly across regions to ensure alignment and focusPartner with customer-side analysts (Replenishment, Category) to proactively resolve issues and maintain data integritySupport selling stories with store-level insights and fact-based recommendationsData Management & GovernanceMaintain and govern Master Item Lists, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systemsEnsure data integrity across all tools, reports, and materials used by NAM/KAM teamsPresentation & StorytellingSupport the development of high-impact, insight-led presentations for internal and customer-facing discussionsTranslate complex datasets into clear, compelling visuals and narrativesDevelop charts, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic storytellingForecasting & PlanningProvide analytical support for volume planning, forecasting, and trade spend management across everyday and seasonal businessAnalyze trends, historical performance, and competitive insights to identify forecast risks and opportunitiesSupport forecast updates and scenario planning in collaboration with NAM/KAMPartner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on volume and spend assumptionsContribute to improving forecasting accuracy through continuous process enhancementsQualifications:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex models and automate reportingStrong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracyProven ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights for diverse audiencesStrong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partnersDemonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and proactively drive process improvementsSystems & Tools:Strong working knowledge of internal sales reporting toolsExperience with TPM (trade management and forecasting tools)Familiarity with customer POS systems (e.g., Retail Link, IRI, Scintilla, etc.)Rewards Package:The standard hiring range for this role is $80-$95K CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus.
