Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop, standardize, and enhance internal reporting across Walmart and Alternative Channels using Excel and automation tools
  • Build scalable automated reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and speed insights
  • Extract and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., customer portals, SAP BI, TPM) for accurate reporting
  • Provide ad hoc analyses under tight timelines to support changing business needs
  • Serve as analytical partner to Field Sales to drive in-store execution and results
  • Deliver weekly/monthly reports with insights, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Communicate priorities across regions to ensure alignment
  • Collaborate with customer-side analysts to resolve data issues and maintain data integrity
  • Support selling stories with store-level insights and recommendations
  • Maintain Master Item Lists and ensure data integrity across systems
  • Develop high-impact presentations and visuals for internal and customer discussions
  • Support volume forecasting and planning with trend analysis and scenario planning
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to align on volume and spend assumptions
  • Aim to improve forecasting accuracy through process enhancements

Job description

Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Key Account Analyst is responsible for delivering high-quality analytical and reporting support to the Walmart and Alternative Channels team. Through automation, data-driven insights, and proactive performance tracking, this role enables faster, more effective decision-making across the business.

Acting as a strategic partner to the National Account Manager (NAM), Key Account Manager (KAM), and Field Sales teams, the Key Account Analyst translates complex data into clear, actionable priorities that drive commercial performance. This role also plays a key part in identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance processes to improve team efficiency and accelerate business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop, standardize, and continuously enhance internal reporting across Walmart and Alternative Channels using advanced Excel and automation tools

  • Build scalable, automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve speed to insight

  • Extract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., customer portals, SAP BI, TPM) to deliver accurate and actionable reporting

  • Deliver high-quality ad hoc analysis under tight timelines to support evolving business needs

Sales & Field Execution Support
  • Serve as the primary analytical partner to Field Sales, translating data into clear, actionable priorities that drive in-store execution and results

  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting with concise insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommended actions

  • Communicate priorities clearly across regions to ensure alignment and focus

  • Partner with customer-side analysts (Replenishment, Category) to proactively resolve issues and maintain data integrity

  • Support selling stories with store-level insights and fact-based recommendations

Data Management & Governance
  • Maintain and govern Master Item Lists, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems

  • Ensure data integrity across all tools, reports, and materials used by NAM/KAM teams

Presentation & Storytelling
  • Support the development of high-impact, insight-led presentations for internal and customer-facing discussions

  • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling visuals and narratives

  • Develop charts, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic storytelling

Forecasting & Planning
  • Provide analytical support for volume planning, forecasting, and trade spend management across everyday and seasonal business

  • Analyze trends, historical performance, and competitive insights to identify forecast risks and opportunities

  • Support forecast updates and scenario planning in collaboration with NAM/KAM

  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure alignment on volume and spend assumptions

  • Contribute to improving forecasting accuracy through continuous process enhancements

Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build complex models and automate reporting

  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights for diverse audiences

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners

  • Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and proactively drive process improvements

Systems & Tools
  • Strong working knowledge of internal sales reporting tools

  • Experience with TPM (trade management and forecasting tools)

  • Familiarity with customer POS systems (e.g., Retail Link, IRI, Scintilla, etc.)

Rewards Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $67-$85K CAD per annum with a 10% performance-based bonus. The final agreement uponsalarymay vary based on market location and factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
