Job summary

Living Sky School Division invites applications for a Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant at Kerrobert Composite School. The role supports students in classroom settings and small group activities, fostering engagement and learning.

The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team. A Grade 12 education and childcare experience are required, with a related post-secondary certificate

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Support core subject areas in small groups and in the classroom.
• Promote engagement, participation and success of students.
• Temporary Part-Time 0.5 FTE Educational Assistant position commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2027 at Kerrobert Composite School.

This posting is for a Temporary Part-Time (0.5) FTE Educational Assistant Position at Kerrobert Composite School, commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2027. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students.The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
