Job description

As a Photographer / Videographer at Buzz Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' stories to life through stunning visuals. You'll collaborate closely with our creative team to develop and execute visual content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with our clients' branding objectives. Whether you're framing the perfect shot or editing video footage, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality, shareable content that sets our clients apart in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Capture striking photographs and video footage that align with client objectives and resonate with target audiences.
  • Show up professionally and on time to scheduled off-site multimedia projects.
  • Use your creative skills to tell compelling brand stories through visual content, ensuring it maintains a consistent tone and style.
  • Maintain and operate photography and videography equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
  • Assume responsibility for the Employer’s equipment when in your possession.
  • Edit and enhance raw footage and images to create polished, visually appealing content that meets client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and bring marketing campaigns to life.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in photography and videography.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education in Photography and Videography , or a related field. Relevant certifications in Photography and Videography are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a photographer and videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Must have own transportation for on-site shoots
  • Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and editing software.
  • Ability to fly a drone and have a valid drone license from Transport Canada.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual content.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs and project requirements.
  • A passion for staying current with industry trends and technologies.
