Job summary

A new waterfront rental company in Vancouver is hiring for a seasonal full-time position to assist with kayak and SUP rentals starting in April 2026. Responsibilities include opening and closing the dock, managing equipment, greeting customers, and ensuring safety on the water. Ideal candidates should be physically fit, reliable, and comfortable around water. Certification options for SUP Level 1 will be available for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and close dock, manage equipment setup and storage.
• Inflate and maintain SUPs; inspect and prepare kayaks.
• Greet customers, assign equipment, and process rentals.
• Deliver safety briefings and complete waivers.
• Monitor water activity and respond to safety situations.

Employment Type: Seasonal Full-Time

Wage: $18/hour + commissions

Requirements
