Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a full-time K-9 teacher for the Northcott Prairie School in Airdrie. The role focuses on inclusive education and MTSS implementation to support diverse learners.

You will design IPPs, leverage UDL to maximize access to curriculum, and work with a collaborative team to drive student success. Alberta Teaching Certificate is required, with a strong commitment to professional learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years classroom teacher experience.
• Experience or background in Learning Supports or Inclusive Education asset.
• Experience with English language learners asset.
• Literacy or Numeracy coaching experience asset.

Responsibilities

• Implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and MTSS to ensure curriculum access for all students.
• Develop and monitor Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) and behaviour support plans.
• Collaborate with teams to coach and model effective practices for staff development.
• Translate student needs into actionable classroom strategies using progress monitoring data.
