It is a Company with a 60-year history in Vancouver with diverse cultures, talents, and highly skilled professionals. Chemetics operates a specialized alloy fabrication shop in Pickering, ON.
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Welding Engineer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based at our fabrication facility in Pickering, ON Canada.
Chemetics is a fabricator and technology company for the sulfuric acid industry. We fabricate shell and tube heat exchangers and proprietary acid equipment. We maintain a repertoire of proprietary alloys (SARAMET) and technology. Chemetics also fabricates vessels for nuclear, O&G, and other industries.
Welding processes used here are SMAW, GTAW, PAW, SAW, GMAW/MCAW/FCAW, LBW and DFW. Alloys fabricated include Austenitic stainless, Ni-based alloys, titanium, and other high-performance alloys.
This new position will be tailored to candidates’ abilities. This role is entry level and training will be provided.
