The Role:

We are seeking a Junior Visual Merchandiser at our Cornwall location in Regina, SK. You will support the store visually by creating engaging product displays, window setups, and in-store arrangements that align with current fashion trends. Your role will include maximizing store profitability through compelling visual concepts and ensuring that new products are prominently displayed in accordance with JD standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Implement weekly visual merchandising briefs within the store.
2. Attract and motivate customers through innovative visual techniques to enhance sales.
3. Regularly update mannequins, displays, and window setups to reflect seasonal changes and retail events.
4. Set up and oversee in-store promotions using POS materials.
5. Utilize Oracle figures to optimize product placement and store layout.
6. Assist and train team members on merchandising and display techniques.
7. Participate in ongoing development activities for future roles.
8. Provide feedback to the Town Merchandiser regarding visual merchandising activities.
9. Maintain professionalism and lead by example at all times.
10. Work safely and responsibly, adhering to health and safety policies.
11. Promote high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and store maintenance.

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

• Minimum six months of retail experience.
• Experience in visual merchandising is an asset.
• Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, imaginative, with a good sense of product flow and coordination.
