What You’ll Do

As a Junior Trader, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day commercial operations of the trading desk and develop skills across several core areas :

• Buy and sell wood pellets and other biomass products to clients across various international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through direct engagement, meetings, and industry events.
• Use CRM systems to track client interactions and drive ongoing business development.
• Contribute to market research and commercial analysis as part of emerging market strategy.
• Support logistics and operations by maintaining an overview of vessels and trade flows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data tracking and optimize decision-making with better use of trading and market data.

You’ll work alongside experienced traders, gaining early exposure to commercial meetings, conferences, and international travel. This is a role with genuine career progression — for the right candidate, this is just the beginning.

You might be a great fit if you have :

Experience in sales or business development, ideally with physical products.

Knowledge of logistics or inventory management (a plus).
