Position: Junior Technician - Specialization RF

Location: Montreal

Role Overview

The Junior Technician - RF Specialization is an entry-level position. The role may involve supervising less experienced technicians, performing simple tests, and assisting in equipment setup and modifications. Initiative and routine task management are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in aligning and testing simple production equipment, recording results.
2. Set up, modify, and check test stands for simple equipment.
3. Support more experienced technicians and technologists.
4. Follow internal procedures and safety rules.
5. Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Specific Tasks

Under supervision, assist with RF testing including:

• Knowledge of measurement instruments such as spectrum analyzers and multimeters.
• Thermal and vacuum testing.
• Bench testing with various analyzers.

Candidate Profile

• Resourceful and adaptable.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Team player.

Qualifications

• DEC or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or related field.
• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Fluency in French; English knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information

Successful candidates must obtain security clearance and pass assessments for Controlled Goods and ITAR.
