Qualifications

• 0–2 years of AV/IT or related tech experience.
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
• Basic networking knowledge is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.
• Reside in the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation and servicing of audio, video, network, and rigging equipment.
• Help build equipment racks, mount displays, install wall brackets, ceiling mounts, speakers, and projectors.
• Pull and terminate wire and cabling.
• Work under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Project Manager.
• Follow safety standards and maintain workspace organization.

The Role

We're looking for a Junior Service Technician to join our team full-time. This is an entry-level role for someone eager to build a career in AV. You'll work alongside senior technicians and project managers, learning the trade hands-on while assisting with installation, service, and troubleshooting of AV systems at client sites across the Vancouver area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Project Manager
• Assist with installation and servicing of audio, video, network, and rigging equipment
• Help build equipment racks, mount displays, install wall brackets, ceiling mounts, speakers, and projectors
• Pull and terminate wire and cabling
• Safely lift a heavy load (50 lbs), climb a ladder, and work in tight spaces
• Always follow WorkSafeBC safety standards

What you bring

• 0-2 years of experience in AV, IT, or a related technical field (a strong interest and aptitude matter more than years)
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools, used safely
• Basic networking knowledge is an asset, not required
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites in the Vancouver area
• Reside in the Lower Mainland
