We’re looking for our next Junior Systems Administrator. Could It Be You?

The Junior IT Systems Administrator will help manage, maintain, monitor, and operate IT and Cloud Infrastructure. This role is based on-premises in Toronto.

The candidate should be able to monitor, provision, configure, and operate systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure in heterogeneous environments (Linux and Windows). The individual will participate in R&D to innovate on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

The role ensures hardware, OS, network, and applications align with policies and best practices, emphasizing documentation and high availability.

• Work with Jira Service Management
• Support Linux and Windows server systems using tools like Satellite, SCCM, Saltstack, Ansible, etc.
• Support and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and other Windows Technologies
• Create and maintain project and procedure documentation
• Assist with Vulnerability Management activities
• Maintain Questrade's CMDB and collaborate with team members for knowledge transfer
• This is an on-site position in Toronto
• May require after-hours or on-call activities

• Can follow procedures and policies effectively
• Work independently or with minimal supervision
• Have strong documentation and presentation skills
• Experience with AzureAD/EntraID administration
• Have 2+ years in a mid-scale environment (500+ VMs), with Linux, Windows, and VMWare ESXi 7+
• Have solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO management
• Possess good networking knowledge (OSI Layers, protocols)
