Job summary

Entuitive in Edmonton is seeking a Junior Structural Designer to join our Structural Engineering team. Based in our Edmonton office, you will work on complex projects and collaborate with BIM technologists and other engineering disciplines.

You will design and perform structural calculations, engineer solutions across steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel and wood, and coordinate drawings with the project team. EIT is a plus, strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• EIT designation is an asset.
• Experience in contract administration and site inspections is an asset.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office, and structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, ETABS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Design and perform structural engineering calculations for columns, beams, slabs, foundations and lateral systems.
• Engineer structural solutions using steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel and wood.
• Assemble and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents with BIM technologists and engineering team members.

• Draft project-related correspondence.

• Engineer structural solutions using materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, cold‑formed steel, and wood.
• Assemble and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents with BIM technologists and engineering team members.
• Conduct field reviews and perform contract administrative duties as required.
• Draft project‑related correspondence.
• Review architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings.

Requirements
