We're Hiring : Junior Sous Chef | Earls Kitchen + Bar

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Junior Sous Chef to support our kitchen operations while developing their skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. This is the perfect role for someone ready to take the next step in their culinary leadership journey.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily kitchen operations. Assist with station leadership, prep execution, and maintaining high-quality standards across service.
  • Mentor and learn. Help guide line and prep cooks while continuing to develop your own culinary and leadership skills.
  • Maintain kitchen excellence. Uphold our commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and smooth back-of-house operations.
  • Be a proactive team player. Communicate clearly, support your teammates, and bring solutions to the table.
  • Deliver memorable culinary experiences. Champion high standards and take pride in executing dishes that elevate the guest experience.
What we’re looking for
  • 1–2 years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Previous team lead or station leadership experience is a plus
  • A strong desire to learn and grow into future leadership roles
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to team success
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
