About The Role

  • Work as part of a small team to review installation plans with your team lead, then safely install solar mounting equipment, inverters, solar panels, and basic wiring on roofs. Assist electricians in pulling wire through various building types, from small residential to large commercial.
  • Maintain a fast-paced, team-oriented approach while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Use hand tools and work at heights.
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently, identify follow-up tasks, and execute them proactively.

What You'll Do

  • Install solar panels, inverters, and ancillary equipment on rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
  • Assist in installing equipment such as solar panels, rails, ground wire, sub panels, junction boxes, and disconnects.
  • Run electrical wiring neatly and efficiently across residential and commercial sites, minimizing disruption.
  • Bend and secure conduit as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines, prioritizing workplace safety at all times.
  • Perform work promptly, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Follow installation paperwork and instructions from your team lead.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail to satisfy customers, maintaining a tidy workspace.
  • Handle company tools and equipment carefully, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Keep workspaces organized and clean.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges effectively.
  • Avoid and report any property damage.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Proactive in completing tasks and identifying next steps.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50-pound panels, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
