As a Junior Software Developer, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop and maintain educational solutions utilizing industry-standard web technologies, cloud platforms, and custom applications. Your responsibilities include programming, maintaining, developing, and supporting various databases, applications, websites, and systems. You will design, code, test, and debug programs and applications, as well as revise procedures and documentation related to program development, logic, coding, and corrections. A flexible attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential for adopting the right tools and providing effective solutions. This role aims to ensure the development and maintenance of secure, accessible applications tailored for students and staff.
We seek candidates eager to adopt new technologies and interested in educational technologies. Essential experience includes proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, React, Node.js, Django) and/or Java application development. Hands-on experience with Drupal is valued, and familiarity with low-code environments like Microsoft's Power Platform and Salesforce is an asset. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.
