About the opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:

  • Assist with selling recommended and required vehicle repair/maintenance
  • serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
  • explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
  • advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
  • schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates/follow-ups
  • accurately prepare repair orders and invoices

About you….

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:

  • 1 year proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales/Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
  • proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
  • proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • ability to sell vehicle maintenance
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
