Pciauto in Montreal, QC is seeking a Junior SCADA designer-programmer to assist in programming, testing and deploying SCADA solutions at client sites. You will also train operators and write technical docs, while supporting servers and post‑deployment activities.

We value a Bachelor’s or technical diploma in automation or electrical engineering, bilingual French and English, and a willingness to travel. Flexible schedules and a strong team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in automated production engineering or electrical engineering.
• Functional French and English.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of systems used in the manufacturing field - an asset.
• Knowledge of a software development method (Agile) - an asset.
• A driving licence, a car and a valid passport.
• Willingness to travel within Quebec, Canada or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Programming SCADA software.
• Testing programmes before deployment at the client's site.
• Deploying the solution at the client's site.
• Training operators or technicians.
• Writing technical documentation.
• Managing servers.
• Providing post-deployment operational support.
• Participation in support contracts associated with projects.
• Performing all other related tasks related to this description.
