Responsibilities
  • Provide support to sales representatives in acquiring and researching new business leads; prepare/ enter quotes/proposals and/or other sales initiatives in the tracking system;
  • Assess and test new sales strategies by conducting trial calls with existing and new clients;
  • Respond to RFQ’s (Request for Quotes) by researching cost and market pricing;
  • Research/ track in house surplus inventory, gather all documentation and upload in the inventory system;
  • Pull parts inventory, inspect and ensure that all certification documentation is available and accurate;
  • Update and maintain the sales department database;
  • Responsible to research vendors, issue purchase and/ or repair orders and ensure timely follow up;
  • Create and prepare invoices for related sales orders, ensuring that all applicable taxes and charges have been captured;
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a Business related field;
  • 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience;
  • Basic MS Office suite and Acrobat experience is required;
  • Previous administrative experience in a professional environment would be an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Very detail oriented with a focus on process improvement;
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills;
  • Ability to review own work for accuracy and thoroughness;
  • Excellent communication skills.
