We are hiring a Jr. Sales Analyst for our Delta client. This role is responsible for working with partners and stakeholders, collecting and analyzing data and producing comprehensive reports and presentation materials. Advanced MS Excel skills are required and prior experience in market data is desired.

About The Opportunity
The Jr. Sales Analyst works closely with stakeholders, producers and vendors and focuses on collecting data, analyzing market data, tracking production and sales data and then presenting insights and findings. Strong data skills, experience with Power BI is an asset, the ability to produce professional reports and presentations is required. The position is open because of growth, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative team in an organization that encourages professional development, open conversations and curiosity.

About The Position

  • Prepare Excel, PowerPoint, and Word materials for analysis and customer/grower support.
  • Design and document sales reports in a customizable SQL-based analytics tool.
  • Train and support users in Business Intelligence Tool usage to enhance value.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for key metrics and KPIs.
  • Work with Sales Managers to analyze customer trends and update demand forecasts.
  • Analyze demand, pricing, and sales trends using internal and external data.
  • Monitor production against grower forecasts; assist with production budgets.
  • Forecast packaging needs and track usage for key suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on data analysis and applications.
  • Review and migrate pricing, sales, and packaging forecasting models into the BI Tool.
  • Provide analysis for ad hoc projects and reporting needs.

The Requirements

  • Post secondary education in business or supply chain or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • 1 year of market analysis is an asset.
  • Proven ability to navigate data and produce comprehensive professional reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and formulas.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar.
  • Strong analytical, including numeracy skills.
  • Must be able to translate data into comprehensive presentations and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse groups and departments.
  • Strong client services.

Compensation

  • Annual salary range $60,000 – $70,000
