What You Will Do:
Candidate Sourcing & Attraction:
- Support the creation and posting of engaging job advertisements on various job boards, social media platforms, and internal career sites.
- Utilise various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal databases) to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Maintain and update candidate pipelines for current and future roles.
Candidate Management:
- Review applications and resumes against defined job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage and update candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Administrative Support:
- Assist with general recruitment administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment reports and data.
- Support with ad-hoc recruitment projects and initiatives as required.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organisation & Attention to Detail: Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive & Eager to Learn: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn about the recruitment industry and develop new skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Enthusiastic, approachable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Some prior experience in an administrative, customer service, or office-based role is highly desirable.
