Junior Recruiter

Location: Montreal, Quebec, On-Site full-time.

Valnet is on the lookout for a Junior Recruiter to be an integral part of the recruitment process.

Are you highly motivated, and dedicated to achieving great results? If so, then you're going to fit right in. Reporting to the Head, Human Capital, you will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talent for our Montreal.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Source and interview candidates.
  • Support hiring managers and fulfill talent requests.
  • Proactively build talent and nurture pipelines for the technology and corporate teams.
  • Conduct thorough research on new innovative ways to improve recruitment performance with an emphasis on new hire success.
  • Publish roles on various job boards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team.
  • Take part in organizing events with the Culture team.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years as a talent acquisition advisor hiring for high-value roles.
  • Bachelors in business administration, human resources management or related field.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with data analysis.
  • Extremely detail and results oriented.
  • Professional designation is considered an asset.
