Job summary

Smile.io, a leading loyalty platform, seeks a Junior Product Designer to craft intuitive experiences for merchants and customers. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers across the full product design process to turn ideas into polished experiences with guidance and ownership opportunities.

You’ll contribute to the design system, work on a remote-first team, and use AI to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• No strict years of experience required; internships, freelance work and personal projects count.
• Strong eye for craft and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Comfortable working in Figma and prototyping with a visual design foundation.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end design for product features from concept to final visuals.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to translate user needs into experiences.
• Contribute to Smile’s design system by refining reusable components and patterns.
• Support design needs across marketing, website, and social assets as needed.
• Leverage AI tools to turn designs into working prototypes and speed up development.
