About You
  • You have adaptable composure under pressure - the ability to keep a cool head and pivot effortlessly when last-minute changes hit a fast-paced photo shoot.
  • A key mindset for success in this role is being relentlessly curious and proactive - someone who naturally anticipates needs before they arise and approaches every challenge with a "how can we make this work?" attitude.
  • Success in this role hinges on being a proactive communicator who builds trust across teams. You act as a clear, reliable bridge between the internal creative team and our external vendors (i.e. studios, retouchers, photographers, models).
  • You bring a proactive, positive energy grounded in a deep passion for our mission: empowering people to live unapologetically free. You approach every production with an open mind and a welcoming attitude, ensuring that our commitment to diversity, body positivity, and authenticity shines through both on set and behind the scenes.
About The Role
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Coordinating logistics for photo and video shoots, including sample tracking, call sheet creation, talent scheduling, and managing on-set equipment and catering needs.
    • Lead point-of-contact on-set for e-commerce photo shoots.
    • Production support on-set for campaign photo shoots.
    • Organize and prep physical product samples before, during, and after shoot days.
    • Supporting photography and video file management within Knix digital asset management tool.
  • Strategic Partnering:
    • Partnering closely with our Sr Producer and Art Directors to bring creative concepts to life through seamless, stress-free photo shoots.
    • Working hand-in-hand with external talent agencies, prop stylists, studios, and crews to build positive, long-term vendor relationships that elevate production quality and keep operations running smoothly.
    • Partnering with Merchandising and Inventory teams to manage sample flow and product availability, ensuring the right products are prepped and ready to shine in front of the camera.
  • Data & Tools:
    • Maintaining strict system accuracy across Knix's project management platforms to track production statuses.
    • Tagging, organizing, and maintaining accuracy within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to ensure seamless cross-team access and maximize the reusability of creative content.
    • Logging production expenses and processing vendor invoices in real time, leveraging financial tracking tools to keep projects strictly on budget and provide clear cost visibility to leadership.
    • Utilizing inventory and sample-tracking databases to maintain precise records of product availability, ensuring every sample needed for a shoot is accounted for.
  • Brand & Growth:
    • Creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for external talent, models, and agency partners on set, serving as an ambassador who reinforces Knix's reputation as an empowering, industry-leading brand.
  • Flexibility:
    • Flexing into special creative initiatives and lending a hand across the team whenever new priorities or needs pop up.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in creative production or studio operations within a retail, e-commerce, or fashion environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace, Hive (or similar project management platforms), Slack, and digital asset management software, with basic familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud tools being a strong asset.
  • Soft Skills: The ability to translate fast-moving production details into direct, actionable updates for creatives, vendors, and cross-functional partners—ensuring no detail slips through the cracks.
  • Problem Solving: Relentlessly positive and resourceful - you bring a high-energy, can-do spirit to every bump in the road, treating logistical puzzles as creative challenges to solve alongside your team rather than obstacles in your way.
  • D&I Commitment: Knix has a deep commitment to fostering safe, respectful, and body-positive environments on set. You actively champion diversity behind and in front of the camera, ensuring external talent, models, and crew members feel valued, protected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to every shoot.

You will be required to work from our Toronto office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), with additional on-site attendance required on photo/video shoot days as needed. Some additional domestic and international travel may also be required for photo shoots.
  • Culture Note: Regular presence is needed for creative production - from organizing physical product samples to managing live shoot dynamics, being on-site allows us to maintain flawless quality control, support our crews in real time, and build a cohesive, trust-based team culture.
Annual Salary
  • $60,000 CAD and up
