Job summary

Harnois Énergies is seeking a pricing technician to support pricing cycle management and data integrity. The role emphasizes learning and growth within the energy sector for an organized administrative professional.

The successful candidate will handle pricing notices, data entry, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure margins align with targets. A DEC in Administration and Excel proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• DEC in Administration or similar field required.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pricing cycle management for selling and cost prices.
• Ensure pricing data is entered, updated and maintained in company systems.
• Prepare and distribute pricing notices to customers.
• Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies including pricing variances.
• Communicate price changes and compliance requirements with relevant departments.

Your Future Responsibilities As a Pricing Technician

• Participate in the full pricing cycle management for both selling and cost prices, ensuring alignment with target margins and product acquisition costs;
• Ensure pricing data is entered, updated, and maintained within company systems;
• Prepare and distribute pricing notices and letters to customers;
• Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies, including pricing variances, inconsistencies, and margin-related issues;
• Communicate with various departments regarding price changes and compliance requirements.

Do you have what it takes to become a pricing technician?

• You hold a college diploma (DEC) in Administration or another relevant field of study;
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role;
• You possess strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
• You have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
