Job summary

Harnois Énergies is seeking a pricing technician to support pricing cycle management and data accuracy in a growing energy company. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, detail orientation, and the ability to learn quickly in pricing operations.

The successful candidate holds a DEC in Administration, has at least 2 years of admin experience, and is proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The position offers a hybrid work model and benefits as part of a Canada-based employer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full pricing cycle management for selling and cost prices, ensuring margins and costs align.
• Ensure pricing data is entered, updated, and maintained in company systems.
• Prepare and distribute pricing notices and letters to customers.
• Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing variances, and margin-related issues.
• Communicate price changes and compliance requirements with other departments.

Your future responsibilities as a pricing technician:

• Participate in the full pricing cycle management for both selling and cost prices, ensuring alignment with target margins and product acquisition costs;
• Ensure pricing data is entered, updated, and maintained within company systems;
• Prepare and distribute pricing notices and letters to customers;
• Analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies, including pricing variances, inconsistencies, and margin-related issues;
• Communicate with various departments regarding price changes and compliance requirements.

• You hold a college diploma (DEC) in Administration or another relevant field of study;
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role;
• You possess strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
• You have excellent time management and prioritization skills.
