Job title: Junior Platform Engineer – Windows, PowerShell and Virtualisation

The role:

My client is looking for an up-and-coming Windows Platform Engineer to join their team.

You will join a globally distributed team of Engineers providing services for the Windows and Virtualisation stack. This is an excellent opportunity to dramatically further your knowledge technically, in a technically focused company.

The organisation is looking for a variety of experience with a couple of key areas:

• Windows Server administration
• PowerShell – ability to write scripts for automation

The above skills are essential.

In addition to these, ideally you will have one of/some of the following:

• VMware vSphere
• VMware Horizon View (VDI), or an alternate VDI solution such as Citrix
• Mobility
• Ansible
• DevOps experience around CI/CD
• Jira or Confluence administration experience
