Reitmans (Canada) Limited pursues fashion leadership through PENN. Penningtons, RW&CO., and Reitmans. We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented Junior Merchandise Buyer to join our Merchandising team.

You will work closely with Buying, Design and cross-functional partners to shape assortments and bring products to life. You'll analyze sales, track trends, support seasonal collections and ensure accurate product information is maintained.

Qualificações

• College diploma in Fashion Merchandising or related field.
• At least 1 year of merchandising, buying, product development, or retail experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Support the buying team with assortment planning, product information, SKU setup, line sheets, sample tracking and seasonal updates.
• Monitor sales performance, product trends and key category indicators to identify opportunities and support smart buying decisions.
• Research competitors, fashion trends, pricing and customer preferences to help keep our assortments fresh, relevant and competitive.
• Prepare reports, product insights and analysis for seasonal reviews, assortment discussions and collection planning.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Design and other partners to ensure product details, samples and seasonal priorities stay aligned.
• Follow up on product updates, timelines and category priorities to support smooth execution throughout the product lifecycle.

We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented and fashion-passionate Junior Merchandise Buyer to join our Merchandising team.

From tracking trends and analyzing sales to supporting seasonal collections and keeping product information on point, you'll get hands‑on exposure to the world of fashion buying.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• A college diploma in Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in merchandising, buying, product development, retail or a similar fashion environment.
• A passion for fashion, a great sense of style and curiosity about trends, customers and what makes products sell.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with Excel, product information and reporting tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities, follow up and collaborate across teams.
• A proactive, curious mindset with an eagerness to learn, take initiative and grow within the world of fashion buying.
