General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada in Calgary is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineering, Design professional to contribute to rugged mechanical systems from concept to production during a 12-month term. You will design, document, and verify components, working with cross‑functional teams including systems, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Travel to DND locations, review vehicles, and support installations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; co-op or internship counts.
• 1+ year of related experience or school project work.

Responsibilities

• Create mechanical designs and drawings for rugged environments using CAD.
• Support full design lifecycle from concept through production ramp‑up.
• Review drawings and parts lists for release activities.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross‑functional teams on vehicle installations.
• Travel to DND locations for vehicle assessments and verification.
