Job description

Liburdi Turbine Services is a leading provider of advanced repair and life extension technologies for high-performance turbine components used in the power generation and aerospace industries. With over four decades of innovation and technical excellence, Liburdi is globally recognized for its expertise in metallurgical engineering, precision welding, and turbine component refurbishment.

We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Junior Marketing & Events Coordinator . The role of Junior Marketing & Events Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm. This is primarily an in-office role in Dundas, ON however, occasional travel will be required to support or attend events and trade shows.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) :

Marketing & Advertising Coordination

  • Manage annual advertising campaigns (print and online) with industry publications.
  • Coordinate with internal team and vendors to produce and submit advertising artwork.
  • Upload and maintain marketing materials, datasheets, and digital files.
  • Organize and track company-branded apparel, promotional materials, and storage.

Event & Trade Show Management

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for approximately 30 trade shows and conferences annually.
  • Register for events and trade shows including booking booth space, and processing contracts / fees / expenses.
  • Book hotel accommodations for Liburdi trade show attendees.
  • Coordinate with Shipping / Receiving Department to ship booth materials to all events / tradeshows.
  • Manage exhibitor listings and, prepare pre-show briefings.
  • Coordinate show schedules, internal communications, and post-event follow-ups.

Corporate Gifting & Hospitality

  • Order and manage giveaways and corporate gifts (i.e., for trade shows, new hires, retirements, special occasions, and etc.).
  • Assist with visiting Clients including booking hotels, arranging client dinners and other visitor arrangements as needed.
  • Handle CRM updates, project number set-ups, and contract management.
  • Maintain corporate memberships for industry or trade groups Liburdi belongs to.
  • Keep records of all signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (with clients, partners, vendors, and etc.).
  • Track marketing / advertising invoices, expenses, and submit regular reports.

  • Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
  • Quick problem solver with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Key Experience / Education :

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or administrative support roles.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Microsoft GP is an asset.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, conferences, or corporate events is an asset.
  • Experience with expense tracking, budgeting, and invoice processing related to marketing and events is an asset.
  • Experience with CRM systems, digital filing systems, and project tracking tools is an asset.
  • Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite or basic graphics coordination is an asset.
