Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a junior litigation associate for a well established mid-sized law firm in downtown Vancouver. You will gain courtroom and litigation experience across diverse practice areas with mentorship and growth support.

Candidates must be called to the BC Bar, in good standing, and have 1–3 years of post-call experience focusing on general litigation, plus strong drafting and communication skills. Willingness to learn and engage with the work is essential.

Qualifications

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 1 - 3 years of post call experience with a focus on general litigation
• Excellent drafting and interpersonal communication skills
• Willing and eager to learn and engage with the work!

Responsibilities

• Independently handle smaller files from open to close while assisting senior lawyers on a diverse range of complex disputes, ranging from commercial disputes, insurance liability issues, real estate disputes, personal injury matters, estate litigation, and more
• Appear in court and contribute to hearings and other litigation processes (meaningful courtroom / trial exposure is expected)
